BICYCLE PROJECT
Share the riding fund! Join volunteers involved in Bicycle project and
repairs workshop. This project was boosted by Mr. David Peekham from
the U.S.A with a donation of Bicycles, Parts and Tools.
ORGANIC FARMING
This is a chance to join the Local farmers in their day-to-day activities
in the farm and to exchange ideas on local farming practices.
"I'm very excited to have participated in this interesting project.
I really like the climate and people" Elisa Parma, a volunteer
from Trinidad and Tobago.
BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
This gives participants the opportunity to contribute their part in
the building of our office. Help in the YHIE cement block construction
project.
TEACHING
Teach a child in kindergarten, Primary or Vocational Schools. This is
an opportunity to share your Knowledge and Talents with African Youth.
Celestine Brown from the U.K. who taught in one of the YHIE kindergarten
has this to say: "it is a great experience being with young Africans
like this kids".
TYE AND DYE WORKSHOP
We offer you the opportunity to contribute to and to learn printing
of beautiful African hand printed cloth in an interesting manner.
CULTURAL DRUMING AND DANCING
Entertain your self to the Max. We offer you the opportunity to learn
and dance like an African, with Africans and under African dance masters.
You learn and understand Ghanaian and African cultures better.
SEWING DRESSMAKING AND HAIRDRESSING
SHAKE your knowledge in dressmaking and learn African cloths styles
as well as support the trade school initiative of the YHIE.
NB: Each project is Headed by an expect who is a volunteer.
Participate in one or more of our numerous viable projects and programs
and derive a fulfilling enjoyment while being the guest of a host family
with excellent hospitality in an environment worthy of your experience.
FUTURE
PROJECTIONS
The YHIE hope to be established in at least 50 countries worldwide by
the end of the year 2005. Volunteers are working deligently in this
direction and you can also assist in cash or in kind.
To expand the BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT into a BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
FIRM to enable the generation train more young people free of charge
in a self-sustaining job of building.
To Build a quest house in Ghana to accommodate the ever growing number
of
Volunteers that participate in our programs from Africa, Asia, America,
Europe and the Diaspora.
To help in the construction of school building and health post as well
as provision Of drugs to deprived and remote villages.
To Expand the Tye and Dye workshop into large one that can accommodate
more trainers.
